Mission home in Prove March 4th, 2013

We left Sunday night to go to the mission home.  We had to check in Monday morning at 10:00.  We went to a firesite that night and how awesome it was. 3000 missionaries.  About 1000 girls and 2000 boys with the girls coming in about the same ratio as boys every week.  It was crazy.  The firesite was about the temple. It was great advice.  Monday we started the classes.  There was around 86 senior missionaries in our group. Going to everywhere around the world. Everyone thought that we had the ideal mission.  Working in gardens and wearing Levi's.  They put us in districts, 4  couples belonging.  We had a teacher.brother Harper from Blqckfoot Idaho teach in the morning and Sister Fillmore teaching in the afternoon.  They were in their 20s and awesome teachers.  Of course we had the fun group.  Treats we brought everyday and we became instant friends. A couple going to Moscow Russia. Being a auditor the Bergners,  Asbells going to Argentina doing something in CPA, the Smiths in Martins Cove and us to Cameron.
The 2nd day each couple were to teach a volunteer e restoration. That had to be one of the scariest thing I have ever done. It was to a boy in his 20s.  The next day we were to teach someone about the plan of salvation. I was so scared I went to bed at 8:30 and slept all night and woke up,in tears and told dad he can do it. When we got to the class a couple showed us a diagram to help teach.  We did awesome. I felt so calm and the guy was older. 2 of his grand kids were killed in a car accident a few years back in Idaho.  We remembered that accident.
The last day we taught each other.
We had a firesite Tuesday night about the 3 degrees of glory he told us to write down that night where we want to go. It was one of the best talks ever. We went to our room and wrote in the front of our journal Logan's family gave. The Celestial Kingdom!  Or course with our family who we love very much.  What a wonderful time the MTC was.
Need to call CHARLYN to figure our how to put a picture on!!!!!!!!

Mission of Paul and Becky to Cameron Arizona 2013

Here it goes.  We decided to have a blog about our mission so those who want to follow  can.  We received our mission call when we were in St George.  Our girls  fixed us up with the picture apt and read e letter to us. farmington New Mexico mission.  What a special time that was.  2 weeks later when we were coming home the mission president. President Batt email us and wanted to talk to us now.  Paul called him and he said we are going to Cameron Arizona to help with the gardens.  This is how they are helping the inactive, active and non members.  Of course Paul asked how to you plant a garden with a suit on?  President Batt got a laugh.  We are to wear Levi's, tshirts and a hat.  Dress up only on Sunday.  How exciting this was.  We had 3 weeks to get ready.  So I took back most of my Mission clothes I bought .  We had our farewell which we appreciate all our families and friends who came. It was a wonderful day.  We are ready to go
